NEW: Wood Write XL
A new size in my Wood Write line! These wooden journals are 7.75" x 10.25." I'm now using a leather binding which is working out wonderfully. The rivets holding the leather (which is also glued) add a decorative element to the books.
These covers are made from upcycled wall paneling. Some are stained and sanded for a natural finish and others are painted and distressed with chalk paint. I've left some of them plain and have added images and phrases to others. Inside each one is a pocket to corral loose papers and cards. The book will hold up to four inserts, but two Moleskine XL Cahiers is about right. These come in plain, lined or graph paper and the quality is excellent.
These are now available at Upcycled on the Hip Strip in Missoula. And they'll be listed in my Etsy store soon. Can't wait to take them to the art shows starting later this year and hear what people think of them. I'm already thinking of new adaptations--leather pocket inside the front cover, unique file pockets, etc.
