Nature Helps!

I’m trying to get out in nature every day during this difficult time. Are you? Sometimes ‘nature’ is just raking out flower beds by the house, walking around the park (we can no longer go into it), or checking out new buds on trees and shrubs. I planted lettuce and spinach yesterday so that counts too.

NATURE is one theme of the refillable journals I make. Those images, as you can see below, feature a lot of flowers, but also some critters, leaves and trees. These seem popular, and maybe now more than ever. Let me know what you think and if you have suggestions. The first two rows of journals shown below are my Wood Writes — made from upcycled 1960s paneling. Some are painted with chalk paint and distressed. Some have book tape bindings and some are leather and I make them in three sizes.

The third row features a few nature-themed Federal Reporters—made from 100-year-old leather law books that were being discarded. I can customize any of these if there is a name, word, phrase or plant/animal you would like on the front. I would love to hear from you!
