Keeping the Samples

I love to experiment! I learn new things, use up materials I’ve hoarded, and make short runs of books people seem to enjoy. I sell the results, but always keep one of each batch so I remember what worked and which ones I like. I’m a bit nostalgic about the various lines I’ve created—old friends that remind me of a certain time or place. So my shelf contains a lot of onesies—samples of journals I’ve sold at shows or stores over time. I love having and using these little orphans.
